Proto je pevn\u00fd cukr um\u00edst\u011bn do velk\u00e9 n\u00e1sypky z nerezov\u00e9 oceli. Tato n\u00e1sypka m\u00e1 ku\u017eelov\u00e9 dno, kter\u00e9 p\u0159iv\u00e1d\u00ed cukr do extrud\u00e9ru. Extrud\u00e9r je rota\u010dn\u00ed kovov\u00fd v\u00e1lec, kter\u00fd m\u00e1 po stran\u00e1ch otvory a je opat\u0159en topn\u00fdm t\u011blesem.  2. Cukr se v extrud\u00e9ru zah\u0159\u00edv\u00e1 tak, a\u017e se roztav\u00ed a p\u0159ech\u00e1z\u00ed do kapaln\u00e9ho stavu. Sp\u0159\u00e1dac\u00ed extrud\u00e9r pak vrh\u00e1 prameny tekut\u00e9ho cukru ven ve v\u0161ech sm\u011brech p\u0159es otvory po jeho stran\u00e1ch. V t\u011bchto stroj\u00edch jsou prameny vaty ta\u017eeny na dopravn\u00edm p\u00e1su a p\u0159eneseny do kontejneru,kde se spoj\u00ed do souvisl\u00e9ho svazku. 4. V balen\u00ed s kl\u00ed\u017e\u00ed je vata tvarovan\u00e1 pomoc\u00ed v\u00e1le\u010dk\u016f um\u00edst\u011bn\u00fdch na horn\u00ed a bo\u010dn\u00ed stran\u011b dopravn\u00edho p\u00e1su. Aby se zabr\u00e1nilo v\u00e1z\u00e1n\u00ed cukrovinek na v\u00e1le\u010dky, jsou typicky pota\u017eeny nelepivou l\u00e1tkou, jako je teflon. Jak vata vystupuje z kontejneru, m\u00e1 tvar spojit\u00e9ho bloku s pevnou v\u00fd\u0161kou a \u0161\u00ed\u0159kou. Tento tvarovac\u00ed proces se prov\u00e1d\u00ed s minim\u00e1ln\u00ed silou, tak\u017ee vata nen\u00ed komprimovan\u00e1 natolik, \u017ee m\u011bn\u00ed sv\u016fj charakter nebo texturu. 5. Po tvarovac\u00edm procesu se cukrovinka p\u0159ev\u00e1d\u00ed na \u010depel no\u017ee, kde je nakr\u00e1jena na segmenty s nastavenou d\u00e9lkou. N\u016f\u017e je namontov\u00e1n vertik\u00e1ln\u011b nad dopravn\u00edkem a p\u0159i pr\u016fchodu cukrovinky se k nim sklouzne, aby provedl \u0159ez. N\u016f\u017e je pak odta\u017een a segmentovan\u00e9 cukrov\u00ed je odv\u00e1d\u011bno d\u00e1le.  6. Nakr\u00e1jen\u00e1 hmota cukrovinek se pak p\u0159enese na balic\u00ed stroj.
